Welcome to the HomePage of Plainfield Community 0utreach.

Plainfield Community Outreach, Inc. is a 501(C)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to empowering and educating the Plainfield community.

We operate several different branches of service:

  • Grace's Kitchen: a hot lunch served the last 5 days of the month to the hungry
  • Supplemental Educational Services (SES): Free tutoring
  • Youth Summer Arts Conservatory: Coordinated with performing arts company Shaggae's Song, and open to grades 4-12, this six-week intensive camp will include training in acting, dance, singing, speech, music production, scene writing and poetry.
  • 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program: we are excited to announce that we are a NJ Dept of Education 21st Century Community Learning Center for the following 3 Plainfield-area schools:
    • Evergreen Elementary School
    • Clinton Elementary School
    • Barlowe Elementary School
  • Monthly Homework Dinners:Thanks to the generosity of the Hamstra Family Charitable Foundation, PCO has a new monthly program, the Homework Dinner. Any family with children in grades 1-6 may come and receive a free dinner, help with homework, and for the adults, instruction on how to help with homework.
